• Question: have you ever seen a soler eclipse

      HI cheeseburgerlegends,

      I am yet to see an eclipse, I was in the South of France for the last one near the UK in 1999, so missed out.

      I am very excited about the partial eclipse on Friday morning, 87% covered here in Cambridge, better the more North you are!

      I was lucky to see the 1999 solar eclipse in the UK, i remember being juyst old enough to realise it was important, but not really what was happening.

      Yes, I saw the last one in the UK. We weren’t allowed to look directly at it so my Dad let us look through the eye covers he uses when he’s welding metal together. It was pretty cool.
