I would give the same advice that I got during my studies. When people told me, I didn’t really believe them, so I know it’s very probable that you don’t believe me either. But I’ll say it anyway: you don’t have to be super smart to be a scientist! I think the most important thing is that you enjoy doing science. If you enjoy it, just keep doing what you’re doing!
Leonie is 100% correct. I failed one of my GCSEs, didn’t actually get the A-Level grades I was told I needed to get into my university course, I sneaked in to my course by being a little lucky and from there I never looked back.
As she says, if you enjoy it and work hard at it, you can suceed and this is 100% true for being a scientist like us guys!
