• Question: will there ever be a lightsaber

      I’m really hoping there is. As i’ve said in chats before, you can’t really be a physicist without an idea on how you’d build a lightsaber, mine involves magnetic fields and plasmas. But again, i don’t think we can construct one anytime soon. But if i had loads of money to spend on research and loads of free time i’d totally dedicate my life to building a lightsaber

      It would be cool, I don’t know if I’d trust myself with one. I’m quite clumsy so I’d leave the lightsaber baring to someone else I think,
