• Question: can animals be genetically engenerred to have human features and act human but still have some parts of the animal. I want to make a colony of ant people if the awnser is yes

      Hi Cj Fazbear,

      There was lots of buzz about growing human ears on mice in the 1990s, I think about using them for transplants. However we “grew” this feature by creating a mould and then growing certain cells in the mould which was implanted under the mouse’s skin. So it was cheating really.

      So, sadly I think the answer is a no, we won’t be able to engineer our features onto animals.
