      Yellykeisi.
      Good question. I think my work is very useful for now and future technology.
      At the moment your computers and phones contain nanoscale electronic devices. The way we make computers better is by putting more components in them. And we can fit more bits in if we make them smaller.
      So my work is trying to work out how small we can make these components and see if there’s any interesting side effects of this that may lead to things like quantum computers in the future.
      So yes my work is useful now for paving the way for future technologies to improve
