That’s hard to say, because there are many organs that we can’t live without. Such as a hart, a brain, a skin (yes, the skin is an organ too!). So I think I can’t pick just one that is most important. But for my field of study, movement control, the brain is definitely the most important.

      Hi Jack,

I would plump for my heart, that is the one thing keeping me going, while my heart is beating I have a chance of overcoming any other organ issue, but as Leonie says it is pretty hard, we need most of our organs.

Having had to tolerate a lifetime of exzcema, my skin is my least favourite organ!

Difficult one, but i agree with Leonie, I think the brain. We can live without a well functioning heart or lungs in some regards as we can artificially keep people alive through life support, but brain, that’s kind of irreplaceable

Do I have to pick just one? The great thing about our bodies is that all our important organs work together in conjunction and keep us going. I’ve always been fascinated by how the eyes work, but on their own they aren’t much good.
