• Question: What is your favorite element(s) on the periodic table?

      Before this question I never really thought about it, but if I had to choose it would be Calcium. Because I like the letters, the 2+, and it plays an important role in the signal transmission between neurons in the brain.

      Like Leonie, I to, have never through about this.

      I guess Carbon because it makes up so much of the world around us and can for soft pencils through to hard diamonds depending on what you do to it.

      hmmm never really thought about this.
      I guess Hydrogen, as it’s simple 1 electron 1 proton. and it’s fun to ignite

      I have a favourite group on the periodic table, the transition metals. Those are the ones in the square in the middle. I really like them because of the trends in their chemical behaviour, also when you spray them into a flame they make awesome colours.
